Prayer Needed

I don't usually use this blog for anything serious- it's usually just little snipets about our lives here- funny anecdotes, pictures, etc... but I feel like I need to share this with you and ask you to pray for the newest little addition, Eloise, and the Temple family. I'm going to spare you any clumsy attempt on my part to explain what's going on and just copy and paste the email that Adam, my brother-in-law, sent out earlier today and I'll update as I can.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Friends,
As many of you know, we welcomed our third child yesterday afternoon. All went well with the labor and delivery, but this morning the doctors found some concerning results after doing Eloise’s blood work.
I am not the medically inclined person in the family, but from what we understand, her hemoglobin and hematocrit are low. This could be caused by a number of things so they are in the process of conducting further tests. The problem is that to conduct these tests they must take more blood from her meaning she will need a transfusion tonight. At this point, we’re told she will be in the hospital for at least a week.
Obviously, this is upsetting news and not how we wanted Eloise to start her life, but we trust the doctors are doing everything possible to get to the root of the problem. As things progress, I’ll send out periodic updates. If she’s anything like her Mom and sisters, she’ll back in action in no time. Please keep little Eloise in your prayers.
Thanks,
Adam
