We finally got rid of that monstrosity in front of our house and planted a new little tree. Granted, the tree is little- it will take it a couple of years to mature to full size but we feel like it's already made a world of difference not having that giant and seemingly deceased disaster in the very front of our house...

Our new little Mexican Orange bush... so tiny and cute...
Aaron said he was fairly certain that the other plant, after having been dug up and the giant leaves cut off, still weighed about 90 lbs. Yuck. Thank goodness for having my big strong husband back to perform some serious manual labor on Saturday.
